New Practice Educator Training 2025 – 2026

Our New Practice Educator training is delivered online via MS Teams. You will be sent a pre-recorded webinar with activities 2 weeks before the training day. Please allow 2-3 hours prior to the training day to work through the webinar and material. Then there will be a 3.5hr live session via MS Teams. It will include live teaching, discussions, group work and an opportunity to ask any questions.

Experienced Practice Educator Training 2025 – 2026

Note : This additional Experienced Practice Educator training session will run for 2 hours and will incorporate some of the new content that will be included in the Refresh, Reflect, Refocus sessions that will soon replace the need to attend Experienced training every 3 years. This session will still be delivered via MS Teams. You will be sent some prereading and reflective work to do prior to the live session. It will include live teaching, discussions, group work and an opportunity to ask any questions.

There is a cap of 30 educators for each training course. If you are offering a placement and need to complete the training beforehand or would like to be added to our waiting list, please email sltplacements@reading.ac.uk.
