As Music Programme Coordinator, Lucy is responsible for managing the busy University of Reading (UoR) Music office, planning and delivering a range of events and administration of the UoR Music programmes.
Lucy is really looking forward to the 2021/2022 academic year, to meet all of our new students, run face to face music events and oversee weekly rehearsals! Lucy will work with our Artistic Director, Victoria Ely to make the new year full of music!
About Lucy:
Lucy’s passion for music started as a child at her local music school in which she learnt piano, clarinet and guitar and attended weekly song-writing sessions. She often raised money for Oxfam through high-street performances and performed at local concerts with their concert band and guitar group. Lucy also achieved grade 6 singing and regularly volunteered, setting up and running ensembles.
Lucy believes music is for everyone and continued to sing and song write throughout university in which she studied History and French. Having studied at the University of Kent, she moved to Reading to start her career.
