We are delighted to be forming a brand new Concert Orchestra. This is a concert band, string orchestra, brass band and chamber orchestra all rolled into one. Led by professional conductor and Artistic Director for UoR Music, Victoria Ely, the concert orchestra gives all instrumentalists a chance to play together, performing a range of music from the classics to contemporary orchestral repertoire.
Open to any and all instrumentalists. Just come and play!
Entry Requirements:
- Unauditioned
- Ability to read music
- Orchestral instruments only
Last year, we had 50 members in our Orchestra and we look to expand our orchestral ensemble this year.
Out of respect for fellow orchestra members, musicians should be prepared to commit to arriving punctually and attending every rehearsal unless there is a valid reason approved by the director in advance.
